How does the "Sign me in automatically" work?

The "Sign me in automatically" is optional, it saves your username and password on your computer and every time you access the page you will be automatically logged in.

What happens if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, please click on the 'Forgot your Password?' link of the front of the directory or on the sponsor login page. The password recovery email will be sent to the email address provided from your Contact Information. The email will contain a link which will redirect the user to the 'Manage Account' section, where the password can be updated.

How can I change my password?

After you are logged in, click on 'Account Settings' link, you will see the "Current Password" field, type your current password in this field and your new password on the fields "Password" and "Retype Password", then hit the submit button.

Am I required to have an account to add items to the site?

Yes. In order to add any item, including Free items, to the directory you must have an account.

How can I sign up for an account?

To add your 'Free Forever' business profile to MyPetGroomer, simply click on the menu heading 'List with Us' at the top right-hand of the page. Follow the steps from there. To sign up as a visitor go to 'Sign up | Login' link at top menu, fill out all fields and click on 'Create Account'.

Why am I receiving an 'Account Locked' message?

If you attempt to access your account and type in an incorrect password 5 times the account will lock for 1 hour. This is for security reasons.

I can't edit my page

Please create an account and 'claim' the listing (there is a link next to your listing that will say 'Is this your business?'. Click on this and follow the steps from there. We are automatically notified when a listing is claimed and will ensure this has been completed legitimately. You DO NOT have to pay for a 'Free Forever' business profile page. What is the SEO section for?

The SEO section is for advertising your page on search engines and the internet in general. The SEO keywords that you choose have to be in the description of your page.

What should I do after adding my listing?

Listing approvals are immediate so you can get started by adding images, a description, video, integrating your Facebook feed and more. Once it's looking good, reach out to some of your favourite customers and ask them to leave you a review. This will help promote your business in Google searches but also provides customer reassurance to see reviews on an authentic niche website directory that is moderated by real human beings instead of robots.

Should I create more listings and can my staff members register?

Please create only ONE listing per business. So, if you have a training centre inside your salon, you can sign up as a Training Centre and your salon will still appear in the normal results for the category being searched (eg. dog grooming). If you have more than one location, not a problem. Add a business profile page for each location.

Which video formats are supported?

Currently the formats for videos "Youtube" and "Vimeo" is supported within the website. Other formats will most likely result in your listing being put on hold automatically or and the video not working.

How do I stop my listing from being claimed by others?

Send a message to with subject line "request to remove my listing from being claimed". You will need to provide your name and company so we can verify the ownership.
